MPhil/PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at HKUST

The Delina Research group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology calls for applications for postgraduate studentships, both for MPhil and PhD in Environmental Science, Policy and Management, for either February or September 2023 entry.

Dr. Laurence L. Delina of the Division of Environment and Sustainability will supervise the students. The students will conduct research on climate, energy, and society with focus on vulnerable populations in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. The students will join a growing, international, collegial, and passionate team of interdisciplinary researchers.

The Group looks for candidates with Bachelor's or Master's degrees in any discipline. We will prioritise those wtih social science and engineering background and those with demonstrated experience in designing and deploying qualitative and quantitative methods, and processing, analysing, and reporting these data. A record of independent and peer reviewed publications is ideal but not a must.
